Privacy Policy
Effective date: 6 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Yusa Studios ("we", "us") handles information when you use any of our games or apps (each an "App"). It applies to all Apps published by Yusa Studios on Google Play, including:
- Retro Runner
- Pocket Arcade
- Bounce Nest
- any other App we publish that links to this page
Each game also has its own policy listing exactly what it uses:
Our Apps are free and provided "as is". Yusa Studios is an independent developer run by Yuyutsu Poudel. You can contact us at yusastudios@gmail.com.
Summary
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or precise location in our Apps.
- Game progress and settings are stored on your device.
- Our Apps use Google services (AdMob, Firebase and Google Play Games Services). These services collect device and usage information as described below.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information stored on your device
Our Apps save game progress, unlocked items, high scores and settings (such as sound and language) locally on your device. This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not have access to it.
Third-party services
Our Apps use the following third-party services. Each one collects and processes data under its own privacy policy.
Google AdMob (advertising)
Our Apps show ads using Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob collects:
- your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
- IP address, which is used to estimate your general location (country or city)
- device information such as model, operating system version, language and screen size
- ad interactions, such as ads viewed and clicked
Ads are personalized based on your interests unless you opt out. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google's consent tools. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your Android device settings under Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads).

Firebase (analytics, crash reporting and app services)
Our Apps use the following Google Firebase services:
- Google Analytics for Firebase: collects usage data such as sessions, screens viewed, in-game events (for example, level started or completed), App version, device model, operating system, country and an app instance ID. We use this to understand how our games are played and to improve them.
- Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports and diagnostic information (such as device state, operating system version and a crash identifier) so we can find and fix bugs.
- Firebase Remote Config: lets us change game settings and content (such as difficulty, events or feature switches) without an App update. To deliver the right settings, it uses your app instance ID, App version, device language and country.

Notifications
Our Apps send two kinds of notifications. On Android 13 and later, notifications are only shown if you allow them when the App asks for permission.
- Local notifications: scheduled on your device by the App itself (for example, reminders that a daily reward is ready). They are created and stored only on your device, and no data is sent to us or to third parties to show them.
- Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging): sent from Firebase to your device, for example to announce updates or events. To deliver them, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your installation a registration token and processes it together with your app instance ID and basic device information. The token does not identify you personally.
Google Play Games Services
Our Apps use Google Play Games Services for sign-in, achievements, leaderboards and saving progress to the cloud. When you use these features, Google Play Games shares the following with the App:
- your Play Games player ID, gamer name and profile picture
- achievements, scores and leaderboard entries
- saved game data, if cloud save is used
Your gamer profile and its visibility are controlled by your Google Play Games settings. Scores you submit to public leaderboards are visible to other players.

Google Play and the Godot Engine
Our Apps are distributed through Google Play and built with the Godot Engine. The Godot Engine itself does not collect personal data from our Apps.
How we use information
Information collected through these services is used to:
- run the App and its online features (leaderboards, achievements, cloud saves)
- show ads, which keep our Apps free
- understand how players use the App and improve gameplay
- detect, diagnose and fix crashes and bugs
- adjust game settings and run events without an App update
- send reminders and news through notifications you have allowed
- comply with legal obligations
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above, which process it on our behalf or under their own policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, or when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
Data retention
Data stored on your device remains until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Data collected by third-party services is kept according to their retention policies. For example, Google Analytics for Firebase keeps user-level data for up to 14 months, and Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days.
Your choices and rights
- Ads: opt out of ad personalization or reset your advertising ID in your device settings, and change your consent choice in the App's settings.
- Notifications: you can turn off notifications for any App at any time in your Android settings under Settings › Apps › [App name] › Notifications, or decline the permission when the App asks for it.
- Play Games: you can play without signing in to Google Play Games. You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and data in the Google Play Games app or at myaccount.google.com.
- Stop all collection: uninstall the App.
- Access or deletion: depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. See how to delete your data, or email yusastudios@gmail.com with the App name and your request. Because we do not store your data on our own servers, we may need you to provide an identifier (such as the app instance ID) to help with requests involving Firebase data.
Children
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at yusastudios@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
We rely on the security practices of Google and the other service providers listed above, which use encryption and other safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy, for example when we add new features or services to our Apps. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Please check this page from time to time.
